Camaret Surf School: Where passion meets the ocean

Antoine (the founder and instructor of the surf school) is a person with a sunny character. When he was younger, he traveled the Breton coast to surf the best spots of the day. From the beginning, he realized the power of this sport on his personal well-being and development.

After many years of mini Breton surf adventures, he started exploring the European coast to look for beautiful unexplored waves. To do this, his socializing side allowed him to meet surfers and locals from other countries. He was guided through mud paths, or even fields of bulls (to be crossed on foot), which at the end led to a wild wave or almost, great adventures! Surfing is that too!

But why did you open your
surf school in Camaret-sur-Mer?

Antoine realized that he instinctively compared each surf spot to the waves of Camaret-sur-Mer and to the Crozon peninsula in general: Whether it was the waves or the magnificent landscape. The most beautiful place to surf and enjoy nature was where it all finally began.

Antoine therefore completed a master's degree in the field of physical and sports education. Then, he naturally headed towards state training dedicated to teaching surfing and opening his surf school in Camaret-sur-Mer. For several years, he worked as a surf instructor from Brittany to the Landes coast with the aim of developing his knowledge of different waves and perfecting his teaching.

For him, the culmination of a passion is being able to teach it!

Today, the objective of Camaret Surf School is simple: To have a surf school with a friendly and educational atmosphere in this place that he loves more and more every day. (And this has been happening for over 20 years now.)

Through his surf school, he wishes to give everyone the chance to access this sport, in order to share and allow everyone to feel new sensations of sliding, of joy, and to help them progress in this great environment that Camaret-sur-Mer offers.

You will have understood that Camaret Surf School gives much more than surf lessons: A moment of good humor, sharing of passions, meeting people and smiles!
